The first release is designed so a student can learn without creating an account, giving us personal information, or being tracked for advertising.

No form inviting a child to send a name, email, story, or financial question.
No transmitted calculator data
Interactive inputs are calculated in the browser and are not sent to our server.
What basic hosting may process
Infrastructure still creates limited technical records.
A hosting provider may process standard request information such as IP address, requested page, browser information, and time of access for security and delivery. The operator must review the chosen host’s current practices, retention, and contracts before launch.
No analytics service is enabled in this build. If privacy-preserving analytics is considered later, this notice must be updated before activation and the operator must assess consent, children’s privacy, retention, and cross-border processing requirements.
What students should not enter
Do not enter or upload a real name, address, exact location, school ID, phone number, email, password, account number, financial statement, government ID, private message, image, or document belonging to another person.
Future AI tools
Any future AI feature must explain what data is sent, where it is processed, how long it is kept, and which provider is involved. It should use fictional or minimized inputs by default, keep provider keys server-side, and include age-appropriate safeguards.

Children’s privacy requirements differ across Canada, its provinces, the United States, its states, schools, and service contexts. This page describes the product’s current data-minimization design; it is not a legal opinion or a substitute for a launch privacy review.

Privacy questions and requests can be sent to hello@sparkandseed.ca, a monitored address on this domain. Because this site holds no accounts and stores no personal information about visitors, there is normally no stored data to access, correct, or delete.
This address is intended for adults — parents, guardians, and educators. Children should ask a parent, guardian, or teacher to write on their behalf, and should not send personal information by email. The responsible legal organization name, service address, and formal request process must still be published before public launch.
