Interactive inputs are calculated in the browser and are not sent to our server.
What hosting and measurement process
Infrastructure still creates limited technical records.
This site is delivered by Cloudflare. Like any hosting provider, Cloudflare may process standard request information such as IP address, requested page, browser information, and time of access for security and delivery. Cloudflare’s current documentation states that its analytics beacon discards visitor IP addresses at the nearest data centre and retains raw measurement data for seven days before aggregation. We rely on Cloudflare’s published privacy practices and will update this notice if they or our configuration change.
Site measurement. Cloudflare Web Analytics is enabled. It loads a small Cloudflare script (beacon.min.js) in the browser and reports technical measurements—such as the page visited, referrer, browser and device type, country-level location, and page-load performance timings—to Cloudflare. As configured, it does not use cookies or store identifiers on your device, does not build profiles of individual visitors across websites, and is never used for advertising. We see aggregated statistics, not who you are, and nothing you type into lessons or calculators is included.
Because visitors include children, we chose the most privacy-preserving measurement configuration available to us, and we will update this notice if the configuration or Cloudflare’s documented data handling changes.
What students should not enter
Do not enter or upload a real name, address, exact location, school ID, phone number, email, password, account number, financial statement, government ID, private message, image, or document belonging to another person.
Future AI tools
Any future AI feature must explain what data is sent, where it is processed, how long it is kept, and which provider is involved. It should use fictional or minimized inputs by default, keep provider keys server-side, and include age-appropriate safeguards.

Children’s privacy requirements differ across Canada, its provinces, the United States, its states, schools, and service contexts. This page describes the product’s current data-minimization design; it is not a legal opinion.
Contact and requests
Privacy questions and requests can be sent to hello@sparkandseed.ca, a monitored address on this domain. Because this site has no accounts and keeps no database of visitor identities, lesson activity, or calculator inputs, there is normally no stored data for us to access, correct, or delete; Cloudflare processes limited technical information as described above.
This address is intended for adults — parents, guardians, and educators. Children should ask a parent, guardian, or teacher to write on their behalf, and should not send personal information by email. The responsible legal organization is Spark & Seed Learning Society, a not-for-profit corporation incorporated under the Canada Not-for-profit Corporations Act (corporation no. 1820099-8); its registered office is in Ontario, Canada, and the registered office address is on public record with Corporations Canada. Privacy requests sent to the address above are handled directly by the organization.
